I've broken my installation (OL 2013)

I've just installed office 2013 onto a new laptop. I initially set up the pop3 account which went fine, it created a new .pst. I then copied the old .pst and copied some messages across and then tried to move the .pst to a new location. Next time I tried to start OL I got a message "Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window. The set of folders cannot be opened. The operation failed." I have re-installed but no change. Any ideas?
