I've had a user who has had a problem from day 1 with reminders. We have a VM running windows server 2008 to host our exchange 2010 install. The user is on a 32 bit windows 7 box running outlook 2010. A week or two after this machine was put in place, reminders stopped displaying.
First I tried reinstalling outlook with no luck. After some searching I was able to find the microsoft hotfix for this issue, and applied it. For a couple months reminders were working smooth. Recently, they once again stopped displaying. The user logged into the outlook web app, and reminders were working fine. After doing so, they were working with the outlook client on her machine also. Days later, same issue. They stopped appearing. She did mention she logged onto another machine and they were working. Currently I'm waiting for another user to jump on her machine and see if reminders work for that user. Was hoping to narrow down whether it was a profile issue or not.
A few things I should note are:
1)This user is 1 of about 300 in the organiztion, and currently the only one experiencing these issues
2)This user creates a reminder for EVERYTHING. Not positive, but if I had to guess I'd say there are probably reminders to check reminders
3)Rather than using that nice little sent items folder to look at past sent emails, she CCs herself on all emails
Basically, she is a messy user when it comes to email. If something is going to go wrong, it will go wrong with her. So that is where I am currently, hoping someone has some input on other possible solutions. I will update this thread when I hear back from her about another user logging onto the machine to test reminders.
