My experience and research indicates that if I try to use Outlook.com (Hotmail) to sync desktop Outlook (2013) calendar with Windows Phone (8.1) calendar, create an appointment in desktop with reminder set to "none", Outlook.com will reset it to whatever value the default is set to at Outlook.com. And there is no "none" default. So every appointment synced to phone will cause an alarm to go off on the phone.
Is this true? Or am I missing a setting somewhere?
