Yesterday both devices that sync contacts with outlook.com just stop syncing. I use outlook.com as the vehicle for syncing contacts and calendar appts. My outlook is configured to connect to my outlook.com account via EAS (s.outlook.com). My android device is configured with the MS EAS as well. I can log onto outlook.com (give it my email address and password) - no issues, see people listed in the contacts (however - not sync'd with the latest changes on the mobile device).
Anyway - the android device says "Sign-in failed" and then that the "Server password has changed . Enter the new password". But the password has not changed. I have tried to re-enter the password - no help. I can go online and enter the same password (when signing into outlook.com) that I am entering on the mobile device and it works.
I have a similar issue on Outlook (the fat client). The contact list sync is "Trying to Connect". I have deleted and re added the MS EAS account in Outllook. During that setup I authenticated with the EAS server (s.outlook.com) and did not having issues.
Is no one else having this issue? Thoughts?
