if you did and it still won't open, go to Control panel, Mail and edit your profile - add a new pst and set it as the default. Remove the 'bad' pst and note it's file location. On the email tab, select each pop account and verify the path beside the change folder button is pointing to the new pst file. Outlook should open. Try opening the old pst using File, Open, Outlook Data File - if that works, you can move or import the contents of the old pst.
