Recurring Task End Date Varies

Hi, I have a monthly task that starts each month on the 19th but is not due until the last Tuesday of the month.

How would I set up a recurring schedule for this?

That is a tough one - there is a monthly recurrence pattern for last [weekday] so getting the date isn't a problem, it's the getting the start and due dates working. I don't suppose setting a due date for the last Tues and the reminder for the 19th would be workable? The other option is to create the tasks in Excel then import. They will be individual tasks, not recurring, which in some cases is better.

BTW, this is the Excel formula you'd use for the Due Date - to get other last days, change the 2 in (A2,0),2) to another number (1 - 7)

Diane, Thanks very much for the responses. I will try your suggestion to create the tasks in Excel and then import them to Outlook. I found your tutorial on importing from Excel to Outlook as well as your hint about exporting Tasks so you know which fields need to be populated in the CSV file.
