Recurring all day annual event

Outlook 2016 64 bit

Office 365 Exchange
I am trying to set up a recurring all day annual event
Outlook is forcing me to choose an appointment time
Am I doing something wrong or is this not possible?
 
Did you tick the All Day Event field? It will show as 12AM-12AM in the appt (but they are grayed out), at least until its saved.

I tried to make a timed recurring annual event into an all day recurring annual event but could not
Your phrase 'at least until it's saved' gave me the idea of creating a new all day event first and then adding the recurrence later which worked
Not sure why Outlook won't allow that type of change but regardless, thank you once again Diane

Ah. You need to remove the recurrence and redo it. At least that is the easiest way to do it IMHO. Or just make a new one.

When you edit, you need to change the start time to 12AM then set the duration to 1 day. That it sometimes messes up though, so i just hit remove recurrence and redo it - tick All day then edit the pattern.
