Recurring invitations for a recurring meeting

Hi,

Some of my coworkers tend to forget to cancel the weekly meeting, so I want to create a recurring meeting and want to send them an invitation they have to accept or decline in Outlook every time.

For example:

We have a weekly meeting on Wednesday, so I want to automatically send them an invitation every Monday, if they can participate in the meeting on Wednesday. Is there any possibility to do this on a recurring meeting?

I couldn't find this question anywhere else (maybe I didn't use the right keywords...), I hope you can help me! :)
 
Has anyone an idea about that or knows a plugin or even another program like doodle, that can do this?

I'd be very thankful for any help!
 
Recurring meetings, no. You could do it using a regular meeting invitation and VBA - every Monday, vba generates a meeting and sends it. You could use VBA to send an email reminder and they could reply if they were coming (or use Voting), but that won't update the meeting tracking.

I don't recall any addins that can do this either.

My preference would probably be to send the single meeting invitation out every Monday.
 
That's a pity, I'm not very familiar with VBA for Outlook, but it's probably not bad to gain a deeper insight into it.

Anyway, thanks very much for your reply, I'll try out your suggestions!
