Categorizing different colors for a series of events

I have a series of events, all on the same day of the week and the same times every time. I have entered these as a series or recurrence. However each event may have a different leader so I would like to categorize each event with a color denoting which leader is taking that event that week.
It seems I can only categorize the whole series with one category color which is no good, or enter the same details time and time again with the relevant color, a very long winded task!

Any suggestions?
