I've been using Outlook 2007 for years (in a Windows 7 environment) and today, for the first time, the system generated the following error when it launched:
Description
Faulting Application Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12\OUTLOOK.EXE
Problem signature
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: OUTLOOK.EXE
Application Version: 12.0.6691.5000
Application Timestamp: 52e8c57c
Fault Module Name: OGL.DLL_unloaded
Fault Module Version: 0.0.0.0
Fault Module Timestamp: 5375d138
Exception Code: c0000005
Exception Offset: 662f038a
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48
Locale ID: 2057
A message on the screen said that Outlook was incompatible with gdiplus.dll and I should re-install.
I fired up Outlook again and it started normally.
A Google search isn't yielding much by way of results and I'm wondering whether this is an Outlook or Windows problem. Any ideas?
