Android Outlook Doesn't Update PC Notification Changes

On my PC Outlook, if I dismiss or reschedule an appointment reminder notification, it is never updated on my phone. It continues to appear in the phone status area and periodically chimes the reminder reflecting the original reminder time.

PC-Android Outlook otherwise sync correctly.

Any help much appreciated.
