OL 2007: Retrieval of Deleted BCM File

While in an .ost profile I inadvertently deleted the BCM folder under

Contacts not thinking that it would have any effect on the .pst profile where

it is used. Is it possible to retrieve the lost data from an archive file?

The BCM data is in the BCM database in folder C:\Users\<user>\AppData

\Local\Microsoft\Business Contact Manager.

I'm not sure where your BCM folder under Contacts came from. BCM's

folders cannot be deleted.

I do indeed have a BCM database folder residing in C:\Users\<user>\AppData

The Cache folder does contain files that appear to match dates of entries

that I made in the records of the only 2 contacts I had entered to date.

Regarding your statement about not being sure where your BCM folder under

Contacts came from & that BCM's folders cannot be deleted, I have the

Contacts tab open in the .pst profile (missing data). Under My Contacts,

there are 3 'folders'; Contacts, Accounts in BCM, & Business Contacts in BCM.

The two biz cards that I created here are missing. When I was in the .ost

profile, I noticed these two cards were present. Since they didn't belong

there I deleted each while in that profile not knowing it would affect all

profiles that I use. So, I misspoke when I said I deleted a folder.

Is there anyway that I can retrieve these 2 biz cards either from an archive

or a .pst backup?

They might be in the Deleted Items folder.
 
No such luck. I empty the Deleted Items folder upon exiting each time in OL.

There has to be a way to retrieve from a backup.
