I've been using Outlook 2010 for a couple of months now and as an administrator I've run across one vexing problem. In past versions of Outlook with Exchange Server, you could create and enable the DumpsterAlwaysOn registry item and recover deleted items from any folder, including the folders of secondary mailboxes you've added to your profile.
I just tried to do the same thing in Outlook 2010, adding a mailbox to my Exchange profile under Account Settings --> More Settings --> Advanced. When I go to any of the folders in this attached mailbox, the "Recover Deleted Items" button is grayed out in the Folder ribbon. However, it is available in all of the folders in my primary email.
Has anyone else run into this issue or does anyone have a solution? I use this feature frequently and would be extremely dissappointed to lose it in Outlook 2010.
Environment
Exchange Server 2003 SP2
My workstation:
Windows 7 Professional x64
Office 2010 Professional Plus x32
Thanks in advance.
