Outlook 2010 Default Calendar

In my outlook setup I have my co-worker's calendar open along with my own so that I can schedule for both of us at the same time. So, I have two calendars open in the "My Calendars" section. I choose to overlay the calendars in my view so that I can easily see where there are available times for scheduling.




Here's my problem. Every time I switch from my mail, contacts, or another area of Outlook into the Calendar, my partner's schedule is the active one. I frequently don't realize this and end up scheduling on his calendar instead of my own.




I made them different colors to try and cue myself, but I don't always notice. I also tried changing the order of the folders, but that doesn't seem to affect anything.




Any ideas on how I can make it always default to "My" calendar being the active one every time?
 
Outlook 2010 (possibly 2007, i forget) keeps the last active calendar active. My advice is to get in the habit of selecting the calendar tab or folder before creating appointments - that's what i had to do.
 
My experience when moving to the calendar screen is that the active calendar is the one at the top of the list of calendars (lower left portion of the calendar screen). You can re-order the list by clicking on the name of the calendar and dragging it to the location you desire. I hope this helps.
