How to remove duplicate history items?

Hi,

I've searched the internet but nobody seems to have "my" problem....

I share my (hosted on my 2008 server) SQL database with one other person in my organisation and everything works fine.

Once in a while I scan all e-mail items to find missing history items. But it seems due to this action I get duplicate items in the history of a business-contact.

Is there a way to get rid of these duplicate items???? It's a mess now....

are you specifically talking about the email-linking feature?
