Outlook 2007 - Missing Calendar Item

guys,

this is the issue:

when user send a meeting request, the meeting is missing from his own calendar, and found it in deleted items.

when the deleted meeting dragged back to the calendar, we are getting this error, " you dont need to accept a meeting as you are the organizer of meeting"

We cant re-send the meeting request as its involving VIP's.

Please assist.
