I've been using color categories in Outlook 2007 for years with no problems. One day all of my color categories disappeared and all of my appointments were stripped of their assigned color. Unfortunately, repairing the .pst did not resolve the issue. After much frustration, I manually rebuilt all of my 15+ categories. A few weeks later, I magically lost all of my categories again! Again, I rebuilt the categories manually. A few months later, it happened AGAIN!
As a result, I decided to upgrade to Outlook 2010 and started a BRAND NEW.pst file. I imported my contacts and appointments from my old .pst and manually rebuilt all of my categories. Today, I magically lost all of my categories again!!! WTF
Any suggestions to restore my categories and to prevent this issue from ever happening again? I'd really appreciate some help! Thanks.
