Outlook 2010 RSS Feed Folder Issue

Hi,

New to the Forum.

I have searched high and low for an answer,

and came up with nothing.

So I apologize in advance if this has already been covered elsewhere.

I have three @Live.com account registered with Outlook 2010 via Outlook Connector.

All is working expect for one thing:

One of the three accounts does not have an RSS Feed folder, and I cannot figure out how to add one.

You don't want that folder in a Connector account - it's not synced up to the server and has been known to cause problems in Connector accounts. I recently reformatted and its not in my Connector account now.

Were the accounts all added at the same time?
 
Thank-you for getting back.

I use the folder to view my Google Reader results.

I can look at them anywhere, but it was handy having them viewable in Outlook.

But if you say have the RSS can cause sync problems, then I'll just remove the remaining two,

and look at other options.

PS I think the account that is missing the RSS was added last.
 
I suspect that a newer outlook connector or outlook update fixed it so the rss feed is not created in the connector account.

if you want rss in outlook, add a local pst and configure rss feeds, delivering them to a folder in the local pst. You can change the delivery location in file, account settings, RSS tab. if you aren't getting sync errors or having issues with the accounts, no need to delete the feeds you have.
 
I was able to get rid of the remaining RSS Feed Folders by removing and re-adding the two email address' that had RSS Feed Folders.

I added them using the Outlook Connector option which I didn't know existed until you told me,

so this tends to make me think I added the accounts improperly which lead to the RSS Feed Folders.

Thank-you for the help.

I'll be interested to see if there are any other benefits from having these email address' added properly.

In the meantime, I'm going to add my RSS Feeds through the Personal Folder.
