Outlook 2003 menu graphical glitch

Hello, new poster here ( but i may keep popping in as i was just promoted to it administrator in my company and am having several outlook issues). The issue im having is a user is having graphical errors on her menus when the drop down expands. When she clicks off the menu's, visually it almost looks like they are still open. If you open a menu next to the file menu for example, that menu will overlap where the first one was a bit, but then when you close it it almost appears as if both menus are still open even though they are not. Its hard to describe but i will try to take a screen shot and upload it when i can. Has anyone encountered this or does anyone know how to fix this problem? i have tried updating graphics driver, different desktop/appearance settings, and different outlook fonts and font sizes. I also changed the way the menu's expand but none of this has fixed the problem. Thanks in advance.

Shes runnning 1440x960? i think. Im not sure what she modified but its a modified theme but it looks pretty standard. I dont think shes running aero but i forgot to check and i was away all weekend. I turned off hardware acceleration friday and honestly thought that was going to fix it but no luck yet.

Sorry to bump my own thread but im really stumped on this one. Anyone have any ideas?

No need to apologize, it's good to get bumped back up.

I was hoping a reboot fixed it. I'd try the standard theme, just for kicks (save her theme so you can quickly switch back) and turn acceleration back on.

Is outlook the only program showing any issues? It's big pig and is usually open all day, so problems are first visible in it.

Sorry about the delay in my reply but i missed my email saying someone had replied. The issue seemed to go away for a while but now its back. I will turn acceleration back on and switch back to the standard theme. She reports that she is receiving other errors starting recently, but she never wrote down the errors or called me to look when they were present so she is waiting for them to reappear so she can take a picture or i can look at them (she doesnt really remember anything specific about them). I dont believe the other errors she is getting are outlook errors though... i have a feeling they are unrelated but wont know for sure until i actually get a look at them.
