Contacts in 32bit 2010 filled with Bounce Emails (and contacts too)!

My Address book keeps on filling with bounce emails from my ISP.

I send out a regular newsletter that has about 200 old emails on it, that I haven't had the time to delete yet.

I have a rule set to put them in a folder, so that when I have the time, I can go through them.

The problem is that they seem to keep filing themselves in my CONTACTS folder!

I was wondering id this is because the email address is contact@*positivetv.tv* that Outlook is seeing the word contact, and putting them there!?

I also have the Outlook connector for my Windows 7 Phone. Not sure if this was started by my using this with my Hotmail account - this may NOT be connected to the problem, just seen a few things on line pointing the finger at connector 14!

I delete them from time to time, but they all come back again (not sure if it's new ones or the same old ones!)

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Are they actually in the contacts folder or the suggested contacts folder? Outlook won't save contacts to the contacts folder on its own but it will create suggested contacts. The suggested contacts are addresses you sent email to and don't have listed in your contacts folder. (It sometimes has problems deciding so you might have duplicates.)

If they are in your contacts folder, i'd look at the phone as a cause. Try this: make a new contacts folder in a pst file, drag all of the contacts to it then sync. This should clear the phone and hotmail. Delete the bad addresses then move the others back to the Hotmail contacts folder.
