EAS and POP folders in Outlook 2013

I have a Windows 8 phone and a Windows 8 PC. My main outlook account is POP/SMTP. I have EAS account in my Outlook 2013 which syncs with my phone. The folders for this account have @serviceprovider.net.au(1) at the end of the folder name. I also have a gmail account which is IMAP/SMTP. I upgraded from Windows 7 and Outlook 2010. Now,when I add a contact or an appointment on my phone, it goes to the folders with (1) and these are not my default folders. I have overlaid the calendars and that works fine, but the contacts are kept separate. Is there a way of combining these?

It is the file associated with the POP3 account. I have changed it to the Microsoft account and will see how that goes. Thank you very much.
 
I changed the default folder but that messed everything else up. I just want to combine the two. Is this possible?
