Missing outlook 2013 information

when going to the calendar, sometimes all information is not existant. After fiddling with it I manage to get the info to show, appointments, birthdays etc. I dont know what makes it show, cant put my finger on what actually makes them appear.
Anyone have an idea for me to fix this problem.
Windows 7 proff, Outlook 2013
