Cannot populate IMAP folders

Dear Subscribers,

Using Outlook 2013, from the tool bar I choose IMAP folders, in the drop down nothing is shown, so I choose query and all my client folders appear, but I can't add any of these folder definitively. When I leave the window, and come back everything is empty again.

Also, my sent folder in my client is empty although there are hundreds of messaged on the server.

Please advise.
 
Did you subscribe to the folders? Select the folder(s) and click Subscribe button.

The window is normally empty when you open it - you need to do the query. Folder names with the folder icon are subscribed. no icon = not subscribed.
