Need to extract a line from a word attachment, and add it to the subject line

Hi Guys,

I recieve emails with Service Reqeust Attchments.

The service request is a word document, and one of the lines of text within the word document includes a customers Address, and the Service Request type.

I need to extract data from a specific place within the Service Reqeust, and append it to the Subject line of the email.

Can anyone help with producing a script that would do this?

Do you need to open the attachment and read a line? Getting it from the document is not hard - use regex and look for Description: then take the text that follows.

This will open it: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/email/save-open-attachment/ - you can use an if statement to only open specific attachments.

This shows how to use regex - http://www.slipstick.com/developer/regex-parse-message-text/ - but it needs to use word vba (which outlook can pass along to word).

Adding it to the subject line is a piece of cake.
