Does any one know what this means -- it's been a while since last I was on here and I've always had great service. I keep retyping my password in but it just keeps repeating the same message over and over again. I just need someone to help me fix this issue.

Task 'workman309@verizon.net - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'
 
In my experience that problem could be due to a wrong password, a wrong Outlook setting, or a problem at Verizon's end.
I would start by checking the Outlook settings. Go to your Verizon carrier's "Outlook settings" page to find the right settings (servers, ports, etc).

Or you could just call Verizon support and let them check the server at their end.

Well first of all thank you for replying to me - I went to the Account settings where it shows my email me @verison.net but across from that it says (pop/SMTP send from this account by default -- What does that mean exactly. As much as I'd like to call Verizon you can never get through to speak to an actual person at least I've never been able to get through. I'm not a professional at technical issues such as this - I just need someone anyone to help talk me through. Every time I delete the password and retype the password it still doesn't allow me access. The same access I have when I type in to Yahoo to access my e-mail which I don't have a problem getting into I just type my password in and bingo I'm in. But with Outlook I retype about maybe two or three times before I just give up. I just need some one to help talk me through it I know it couldn't take that long.

I was going to tell you to log in via webmail, but when I searched for it I got to this page

All verizon.net email, calendar and address book content that was not migrated to AOL or moved to a third party email provider before December 15, 2017 has been deleted from our systems
