Need CC: to show the original To: recip[ients

Hello all

I have been asked to find an answer to this problem but cannot find anything other than how to hide the recipients.

When we send an email to say all managers and CC directors into that message we want the Directors to see that the original email was sent to manager1, manager2 etc. However, at the moment each CC recipient just get their own name in the To: filed which is causing confusion.
How can we make it clear that the email was To: blah blah and the CC; is to the person receiving it?

The people who were cc'd should be in the CC field, not the To field. It could be a problem with either the email server or your antivirus - something is moving the names to the To field.

Is everyone using Outlook? Some mail clients may display the names differently.

I believe everyone is using Outlook.
The email I have seen was sent to all managers by using all of their individual email (not a group) and then the CC was sent to a group (Directors) but when the Directors get the mail it shows the actual name of the director in the To: field and Directors in the CC: field :?

Its confusing and a little annoying for the Directors as they get personal emails which are actually intended for Managers.

Do you know how I could check what is causing the problem.

I know some email clients will do that (either Eudora or thunderbird, or both, for starters)- but not Outlook.
