Outlook 2021 outlook on iPhone

I use outlook 21 on a Win 11 computer. My iPhone has suddenly asked me for an Outlook Password. It appears I have Outlook on the iPad, but no mail appears within it.

I could do this:
settings
apps
mail
mail accounts
outlook
delete account
I'm concerned that doing so may have a negative impact on my win11 outlook mail.

The account on the phone (or any other device) is separate from the account on the computer - you can remove it, and it will not affect the account set up on other devices. You're just removing the account from one device.

Since you use Outlook 2021, the following won't apply as Outlook 2021 (or any year version) and classic Outlook do not use the Microsoft cloud.

But for others who find this thread - if you have your account in Outlook mobile and new Outlook (for mac or windows) - they share Microsoft cloud storage. If you delete the account and choose the option to remove it from everywhere, it deletes the Microsoft cloud cache, and you need to add the account back on the devices using those apps. It does not touch the actual mailbox content, although you will lose calendar and contacts if not Gmail, yahoo or iCloud account.
