Outlook Calendar entry being used as malware vector.

My Bitdefender Anti-spam did not let me submit thjis email to Bitdefender because the email came from Google Agenda. Here is a screenshot of the attached Outlook .ics (calendar entry) file

This is the first time I have seen Outlook Calendar being used as a malware vector

I get spam from google agenda all the time, until I turned off the option to add events to the calendar automatically.

What exploit was it infected with? As far as I know, none I received were infected with any malware.

Diane,

I don't know, since the ics file was not recognized as spam by Bitdefender.

Regardless, to me it seems to be a novel and clever way to deliver malware.

Based on the reports I've see it will get on the Calendar as Tentative no matter what.
