OL 2003: UI background color anomolies

My company just supplied me with a new Dell Latitude E6400 onto which I've installed Office Pro 2003 (our guidelined version of office). In Outlook, the color of program elements like toolbar buttons, the Navigation Pane buttons and background colors of selected items in the Folder List are all plain grey. This makes it very difficult to tell which toolbar buttons are selected. On my old computer (Latitude D610), these interface elements had a gradient orange color. It doesn't matter what color scheme I've set on my PC, these colors don't change. (This is on Windows XP SP3, btw.)


I've updated the video driver on the machine to the latest version Dell has issued for Intel's GMA video hardware but nothing changed. Is there any way to change these colors within Outlook...or do you think this is a video driver problem?
