2003 OL to OneDrive People

I am helping a non-profit convert from Outlook 2003 to OneDrive. They have several distribution list of contacts they email monthly.

I have read all I can from A to Z and find no answer.

How can I convert or import all of they distribution lists (8) into People Groups?

Well, you aren't converting outlook to onedrive... :) That's file storage. If you are using Outlook.com, you need to set up the groups in outlook.com (it adds categories to the contacts if you sync them to outlook 2013/2016). There is no easy way to import them, categories in Outlook 2013/2016 won't sync up and will be erased if you edit the contact.

As an FYI, outlook.com is moving to exchange servers at office 365. When the accounts are moved, they will behave just like exchange accounts and the contacts groups/ dl's will work again - so i'd definitely save them.
