Yes, it could be the provider if everyone is experiencing the problem. I recommend giving it a couple of days before trying any fixes. If you use a smartphone to check the account, turn it off and see if it stops the problem.
Thanks so much for your response Diane. Yes the provider confirmed that they had a surge of clients trying to access their server. They said they would fix it by changing their settings.
