2007 outlook folders disappeared

hey all i am new to the forum and got one user who reports that he had 40 folder in one pst and few days later they disappeared. I asked him if he had power failure, if he deleted them or moved them by excident he said no. Search the whole pc found pst files that are already in outlook. Repaired them all no luck. Checked every folder in outlook still nothing. Any ideas you guys might have? thanks
 
Since you already checked for corruption, the only things left would be either delete or accidently move the folders. Were the 40 folders within a subfolder? If he moved a top level folder, the subfolders are moved too.

Are they in the pst file or his mailbox? I'd look for them in OWA, just to be sure. :)
