Appearance (Width) of Calendar Appointment "Show as (Free/Busy/etc)" Indicator

Any way to make the little "Show as" indicator on the left edge of appointments in the day/week views of calendar wider so they stand out a bit better?

This little bugger? No, you can't make it bigger. If you don't use categories, you can assign categories to correspond with Show time - that can help.
