Why does my font size increases only when I reply to certain people?

Hi,

For a couple of specific contacts in my address book, whenever I reply to them the font size of my reply changes from the regular "arial 10 blue" to "Arial 18 black".

I don't think it is a zoom issue as I can have two replies opened and one will be normal, the other will have the large fonts.

Why is that?
 
This only happens after you hit reply? The font isn't used in their message? If they are using stationery, your replies will use the font the stationery is configured to use. You can disable to a degree in Stationery and Fonts, but not all stationery honors user's settings.
 
Yes, it is only when I use reply and yes, it uses the same font/color from the original email.

I've checked under tools/options/mail format and I am not using any stationery.

Is there a way to disable using the sender's stationery in my replies?
