Outlook .com group does not show up in Outlook for office 365 home

I just created an outlook.com group for email and sharing a common calendar. Unfortunately the group does not show up in Office 365 home. Is the functionality more limited in office 365 or am I just not configured correctly? Thanks.

That is one of the dumbest decisions they have made. So that means you either use them and use outlook.com and then forget about desktop outlook. Cannot see the logic in their decision.
 
Agreed. I don't know if they will change the policy - it might depend on how much use Groups get. Personally, i don't see them getting a lot of use on the consumer side.

They also don't work properly with custom domains yet - I have it working on my custom domain because they did something on the backend to make it work when i asked about groups after seeing it pop up and complained that it wasn't working. <g>
