Hello Experts,
I wanted to forward certain official emails to my mobile number. So I have setup a rule in Outlook 2003 client, but then after running I realized that due to exchange server setting, my email gets blocked, so either it doesn't get forwarded or it doesn't reach the destination (my mobile or gmail). So,
1. Is there a way to get away from this ? Can we, in anyway, fool the exchange server that its a manually sent email and not Auto Forwarded. Because if I send it manually it will work, only via rule it doesn't work.
2. I know that you can find a solution for Q.#1, with some kind of VB script. But to run that I have to keep my Outlook client and hence my machine running always, which is not practical. Any other solution ? So I tried setting up Shared mailbox and added my mobile number in the email format as the member and then tried sending a dummy email through my Outlook client, but Auto Forward rule, doesn't send it because exchange server some how identifies that my Shared mail box is configured to forward all the mails to External Domain. If I send a mail manually to that shared mail box, it will simply forward. Any solution ?
3. I also thought of Java mail - via an executable script. But again I will have to keep the Client running. Any option to kick off scripts from the Shared mail box without opening the Client ?
I am sure there will be some way to achieve this.
Thanks very much.
