Outlook 2007 changed from POP3 to IMAP

When I re-loaded Outlook 2007 after a crash, I set up my account using all the normal Comcast settings (i.e., pop.comcast.net; smtp.comcast.net; outgoing server authorization requires same settings as incoming; POP3=995; encrypted connection; SMTP=597; and encryption=SSL)...Although all the configuration settings indicate I have aPOP account, all the "View" settings in Outlook act like it is an IMAP account.

Any suggestions how I can get Outlook to act like a POP3 Account?
 
Click Tools/Account Settings. There see which type of account you've created. If it's IMAP, you need to remove it and create a new one. On the page where you enter your name, outgoing and incoming servers, etc., you can choose from teh dropdown box which type of account you want.
