Outlook, Multiple Accounts and the Default Account

When you use Microsoft Outlook 2010 or Outlook 2013 and have multiple accounts delivered to different *.pst files, Outlook doesn’t use the default account set in Account settings. Instead, it uses the account associated with the mailbox or *.pst file the folder you are viewing is stored in. This change in behavior doesn't work well when an IMAP is configured to be the default email account and you have a POP3 account delivered to the default pst file.

Do the accounts have separate mailboxes with different user names and passwords or do they share a mailbox (and share a username/password)? The description of your problem sounds like they share a mailbox and any of the accounts will download all of the messages. If so, try the macro here - http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/using-gmail-master-account-reply-using-correct-account/ - (it'll work with any catchall mailbox)

My issue is this: I added a Go Daddy email to my outlook today and, while it was added, it seems to have become a "sub-account" to an already existing GoDaddy email account for another site of mine....in other words, it does not appear in the folders view on the left of Outlook. how do I separate it out so that it has its own folder hierarchy?
