Migration to Exchange, still happening? How will I know when?

I read about Onedrive.com/Outlook.com accounts migrating to exchange servers, and how it may fix some of the issues with the way Onedrive.com/Outlook.com currently handles contacts and calendar.
Is this migration still in progress?
How will I know if it has happened for my account?
 
It is in progress and may take another 6 months to get all active accounts moved. They are supported to send you an email before the moving telling you you'll be moved (about a week or so in advanced) and one after the move. We're trying to talk them into moving all outlook users at once, since it improves the experience so much.
