Why does Outlook keeping adding to the email address I have in my notes portion of a contact?

When I add an email address in a notes portion of a contact, Outlook always add a "mail To" which is annoying and sometimes not correct.

For example, I wrote help@textra.me in my contact but when I went back and looked at the contact several days later it showed "help@textra.me<mailto:help@textra.me>"
 
Split like that? It's because you are syncing with a mobile device that syncs the notes field as plain text. converting to plain text converts URLs to that format.

If you don't want it converted to a mailto, you need to add a space before or after the @ so it's not recognized. You could also leave the space before the TLD: help@textra .me
