Account view display narrowed, contact names hidden

I am having a semi consistent problem with the Account view window.

Occasionally, it will all of a sudden narrow all of the fields to half their

normal widths and the list box with the contacts will narrow and no longer

show contact name column, only title, phone, email. This usually happens when

I have 2 or more windowed views open such as inbox, tasks, account list and

the only way to correct the problem is to close out of outlook and restart

it.

The window can be maximized or resized, but it makes no difference. Has

anyone else seen this problem or have a solution to fix it?

Thanks

-Karl

I have the same problem. At least the fields for

- business contacts in an account window

- business contacts and accounts in a project window

- project tasks in a project window

- communication history items in a project/history window

- comments in a project task window

seem to be narrowed and their width do not follow the window width at all.

Closing and restarting Outlook seems to help but I have no idea how to

correct the problem in another way. I can't now make the problem occur again

but some day it certainly will.

Also in my case the names of business contacts were invisible but that could

be corrected by widening the name field. For some mysterious reason it was

narrowed to 0!

One of my employees has the same problem.

She said it happens 10+ times a day and the only way to resolve is to close

Outlook and open it back up.

Here is a screenshot of the problem:

There is normally 2-4 other columns (name), which are missing when this

issue pops up.

I very consistently have this problem. Everytime I bounce back and forth

between the Account List view in BCM and the Outlook Calendar (then back) the

columns shrink a little bit more. Periodically, I have to just grab the

column width handles and the top of the page and stretch things back out.

Yes, I have noticed this irritating little problem as well. Thanks to Rob M.,

I see the correlation to Calendar, and I also just found that if you bounce

to Mail and back to Contacts the column width corrects itself - a little

easier than readjusting the column width. Thanks Rob!
