Hi there, I've created a Calendar group for my company, which, with overlay, seems to work quite effectively for each person to see what the team is up to. I have been asked to add public holidays to the "Calendar Group". However, as the Calendar group is made up of a collated view of the individual calendars, how is this best implemented?
First, does the Public Holiday category need colour coding?
Second, is the goal best accomplised by adding the public holidays to every person's calendar? In which case, in overlay view which colour would "win"? I ask this as overlay view works by matching the calendar colours of each team members with their appointments.
Alternatively, do I add the public holidays to just one person's calendar at let calendar serve the rest of the group in Calendar Group.
However, if I did that, I now realise that the individual view of public holidays that everyone needs would then be missing when they are in their calendars as individuals, and not looking in the calendar group...
Hmmm...As you can see, this is is not entirely clear to me. And I'd be interested to see how others have managed it.
