Need People "Pain" Cleared...

I know how to disable / make the people "pain" not be seen. But I need to know if there is a way to clear the information that is displayed in it. Every time I create a new email to someone it shows every email I've ever sent to that person. Even if all emails have been deleted. which tells me that the emails are not being deleted but stored somewhere. Can someone tell me if it is possible to clear this information?
 
did you empty the deleted items folder? They shouldn't be in the list - and if they are, can you open them? If so, they are not deleted. If trying to open them errors, they are in the search index cache. You'd need ot rebuild the index.

If you can open the message, click on the opened message to insure it has focus then Ctrl+Shift+F to open the advanced find dialog. Click Browse. Where is the message?

Diane, Thanks for the quick reply... I didn't take in to account that it could have been emails that were sent to me from the person I was sending to. And that is what it was.. Although I cleared my sent and deleted folders, I had 1 email that this person sent to me in my inbox. Once I got rid of it the People "PAIN" was then cleared. Thanks again for the quick reply. Say a prayer for our many troops overseas today that we don't have to remember them next year... Dan
