Oulook view settings ( NO PST)

Outlook version
Outlook 2010 64 bit
Email Account
Exchange Server
I have custom view settings that will stick for several days and then be gone and have to be re-created. All the information I find on view settings say that they are stored in a PST file, but I do not have a PST. I am working in NON-cached outlook with exchange 2010. Can anyone tell me where view settings would be stored in an enviroment without PST's and how to ensure that those settings stick?

thank you,

Susan
