Outlook 2013 deleting emails randomly

Hello-

Our office is using Outlook 2013 with POP mail hosted by pair.com. We are seeing apparently random email deletions from multiple existing mail folders - go to a folder which should be filled with emails and they are all gone. These emails are relatively recent. some are older, some are within last few months.

Any ideas on why/how to stop/how to recover?
