Use F8 or the Step into button to run the code one line at a time and watch what it does - does it skip a line? Oh, but first you need to comment out the on error resume next line.

And what does "but first you need to comment out the on error resume next line." mean to do?

You know what comments in a macro is - the leading '

on error resume next will keep the macro going to the end so you can't see where it's failing. with that commented out, you might be able to see why it's not working for you when it works here.

Just to tell you, thru the Microsoft Forum I was told to change the objItem as mailitem to ReportItem and it works so here is the full code that works perfectly....and thanks for your time as usual!!!:)

Sub MoveSelectedMessagesToFolderUndeliveredEmails()
Dim objFolder As outlook.MAPIFolder, objInbox As outlook.MAPIFolder
Dim objNS As outlook.NameSpace, objItem As outlook.ReportItem
Dim olReport
Dim olMail
Set objNS = Application.GetNamespace("MAPI")
Set objInbox = objNS.GetDefaultFolder(olFolderInbox)
On Error Resume Next
Set objFolder = objInbox.Folders("Undelivered E-Mails")
'Assume this is a mail folder
If objFolder Is Nothing Then
MsgBox "This folder doesn’t exist!", vbOKOnly + vbExclamation, "INVALID FOLDER"
End If
If Application.ActiveExplorer.Selection.Count = 0 Then
'Require that this procedure be called only when a message is selected
Exit Sub
End If
For Each objItem In Application.ActiveExplorer.Selection
objItem.Move objFolder
Next
Set objItem = Nothing
Set objFolder = Nothing
Set objInbox = Nothing
Set objNS = Nothing
End Sub

I thought you wanted to move both mail and reports? That's why the suggestion to use as variant

So if I want the form so it does both types, what do I change to the foregoing as variant and where please?

You just need to change the line that dims the value. You changed it to reportitem, change it to variant instead.

Dim objNS As outlook.NameSpace, objItem As variant

or you can use object:

Dim objNS As Outlook.NameSpace, ObjItem As Object
