My computer runs: SQL Express 2008, Office Accounting 2008, Outlook 2007, two

profiles (local and network). I installed BCM after Outlook and MOA.

I use only the network profile. I am able to create bcm databases.

When I try to add a data file BCM or run the wizard, which pops up

automatically while starting Outlook, I cannot connect to it.

SQL Server (MSSMLBIZ) is running with log on Network Service, my credentials

are user with admin rights. Security BCM Folder has user group with read and

write, admins with full rights.

I did run for the testing purpose the local profile and could connect to a

BCM database.

Does anybody have an idea, how I can connect to a BCM database on my local

computer while running network profile.

Thanks.

I checked the Windows NT Application Log. This error shows up, when I try to

connect to the BCM database.

Log Windows NT (Application)

Source MSSQL$SQLEXPRESS2008

Category Logon

Event 3221243928

User NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE

What could be the reason that I cannot connect?

Hi Evelyn. I am having a similar issue. I have BCM installed on a few

notebooks and desktops. We put the database on a file server running Server

2003 Enterprise. We cannot connect to the database. Let me know if you get

any answers. Thank you.

Hi Denial,

Please check my other posting "Connecting to database failed" from today.

Things I tried may help you.
