Outlook 2007 has started corrupting incoming PDF attachments, even if I don't open them. I have disabled the anti-virus software, and the problem continues.
The error message on the PDFs is that the file is damaged and could not be repaired. I've run three different anti-virus, anti-spyware programs but they've found nothing.
I've also sent a perfectly good PDF from my Yahoo account to my Outlook account.
1. I opened it in Outlook and it was corrupted.
2. I did it again but forwarded it back to my Yahoo account unopened. When I tried to open it in Yahoo, I got a message that it had a virus and should not be opened.
Will upgrading to Outlook 2010 resolve the problem? I'm not sure what else to try.
