Exchange 2010 Outlook 2010 and Local Failures sync issue

Hello,
I configured an Outlook 2010 client for using an exchange account and want to import an previously exported pst file.
The most mails were imported without problems but for a few mails I get an synchronisation error and the mails will be moved to the "Locale failures" Folder.

There is an error but this is not very helpful. It only says that a client action went wrong and that the mail was moved to the "Locale failures" Folder.
I have installed all the updates for office, tried to change the mail type from richt text to only text - nothing helps.
I can export the local failure mails to a pst file but I can't import them without error from this file.

I have no idea what can be the problem. Maybe the mails itself? The type of mails, the attachements or something else?

The local failures is in the local failures folder of your exchange ost? I'd make a folder uinder the inbox so you can find them easier - drag from local failures to the new folder. Do one or two at a time and see if you get any errors.

Local failures files are not in the ost the are only local - therefore the name.

I try to create a folder unter Inbox and tried to drag mails from local failures to the new folder but the always will be moved again to local failures folder.

Thats my problem.
 
local failures are in the ost, but they don't sync up to the server, so you won't see them using OWA. The only local failure I had did sync up when i moved it to another folder... so it really doesn't like your failures. :(

Open the pst file in outlook using File, Open, Outlook data file and see if you can drag them, one at a time, to a folder in your mailbox.

Thanks for your answer.

Ok - I thought local failuers are only locally not in the ost.

I tried to open the pst file and to drag them to a folder in the mailbox but it doesn't work.

I also tried to import them to another account and I also tried to repair the pst file - nothing helps.

Do you have another idea?
 
I solved the issue as I configured the account on an Outlook for MAC, copied the pst with the mails from local failure folder to the MAC and import them there to Exchange and it works perfectly.
