I recently contacted the tech support service: iYogi, regarding problems I am having with the configuartion of my IMAP account. The technician said she couldn't address the problem because my Outlook program was outdated, then transferred me to her "Supervisor".
He told me that I needed to upgrade to Outlook 2013 because IMAP was not compatible with 2010. I told him an IMAP account had been set up on the 2010 version of my Outlook program and it seemed to be working pretty well except for 800ccc 0R, DE, o5 and oF errors; having to do with syncing subscribed folders. Eventually the folders did sync but not without repeated Send/rec. However he insisted that I needed to upgrade to Outlook 2013.
I believe he is wrong and that they are just trying to sell me a bill of goods. But I could be wrong; am I?
